Omni Helps America In Bloom Locally

Jean Bruner-Jachino of Omni Communications Group will help raise funds for America In Bloom by working as a bartender this evening at Bennigan’s Grill & Tavern “Movers & Shakers Night” along with Springfield Mayor Tim Davlin, Lisa Ellis of Illinois National Bank, Amber Sabin of City Water Light & Power, and Karen Conn of The Inn at 835 and Conn’s Catering.  All tips received this evening by these local celebrity bartenders will be donated to America In Bloom, a national program that has existed since 2001 to work with more than 150 cities across the country to promote nationwide beautification programs and personal and community involvement through the use of flowers, plants, trees and other environmental and lifestyle enhancements.

Bennigan’s is located inside the Hilton Springfield downtown, and the event is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Stop by to help support Springfield’s efforts in the American In Bloom competition to improve the quality of life for Springfield residents and visitors.
